We do filings every day, in every software and format imaginable.  We have been teaching EDGAR in ASCII format since 1993 and HTML/PDF  since before it became optional in May, 1999.  We have developed our own HTML EDGAR filter  and Word/Excel Macros, as well as our own Form 3, 4, 5 software.  We've formed a trouble-shooting team, with staff at the SEC, to keep abreast of all technical changes, problems and improvements. It is this vast experience that prepares us to not only be able to teach and file effectively but to know what you are experiencing as a beginner in the world of EDGAR.  Remember, anyone can register as a SEC Training or Filing Agent.  No credentials are necessary.  However, it is the filer, and not the filing agent or trainer, that is held responsible by the SEC.  

Be sure  and check out the references, experience and qualifications of  your training and filing agents.  Talk to individuals they've trained; ask to view their HTML and XBRL filings on the SEC database.  Be certain they are qualified to teach you this important function.  Is their course offered and sold by a large seminar company whose sales staff knows nothing about EDGAR and can't help you with technical questions?  Is it offered by a large financial printer/filing agency whose best interest may be maintained by making EDGAR seem difficult and complicated so that you will have to use them to file for you? Will you be able to call them if you need help at filing time?  Does the company offer the type of customer service you deserve?
